Sunday, July 21: The 64th Annual Hillsborough Concours d'Elegance
Say "Northern California", "summer" and "classic car", and most people's minds turn to Pebble Beach and the classics in August. But---there's an earlier, more intimate and longer-running Concours d'Elegance one month before, 102 miles north on the gorgeous San Francisco Peninsula.

Porsche 917K.
This year's featured marque is Porsche, and showcased will be the 917K, which won the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1970. It's among a handful of rare Porsches from the private collection of racer and restorer Bruce Canepa:

1979 Porsche 935.
1989 Porsche 962.
Porsche 959.
2015 Porsche 918 Spyder.
But while Porsche is the featured marque this year, the Hillsborough Concours will also have a wide range of rare classics on hand, from early BMWs:
1940 BMW 335 Cabriolet.
To American classics of the 1930s:
1931 Chrysler Imperial.
1937 Packard Super Eight 1500 Touring Sedan.
....as well as stunning Italian design:
1949 Ferrari 166 Inter.
1966 Ferrari 330 GTC.
...and some gorgeous American hot rods and muscle cars, classic motorcycles and more.
If you're a classic car owner, there's still time to get in touch with the Hillsborough organizers about showing your car and participating in the Tour d'Elegance, a 70-mile rally along the beautiful winding roads of the San Francisco Peninsula, earlier in the day, followed by a private luncheon with the other owners before arriving at Crystal Springs.
